Sporting Goods Markets

All the major sports brands are available in Shanghai and all the malls sell sporting goods, although the selection can be very limited and you’re unlikely to find much in the way of equipment for sports that aren’t popular in China.

There are some good sporting equipment shops around Shanghai Indoor Stadium, however, most expats and locals will tell you that Decathlon is the place to shop for anything sporty. From camping to snow skiing, and just about everything in between, these huge warehouse-style stores are dotted across Shanghai, including at Hongqiao, Jinqiao and across the road from the Longyang Lu Metro station and they are well worth a visit. Prices are very reasonable and quality is high.
